HEKI 2176 Larch Trees is a set of five finished larch models 14 to 18 cm tall. The trees are shaped individually, so the crowns do not repeat within a stand.

A set of five finished trees representing the larch, in heights of 14 to 18 cm. Every piece is shaped separately, so the group does not read as one mold repeated five times. The trees are not tied to a single layout gauge: in H0, 14 to 18 cm corresponds to roughly twelve to sixteen meters of a real tree, in TT to just under seventeen to twenty-two meters, and in N to specimens that are more mature still. The HEKI Kittler brand comes from Rastatt and keeps all its production in Germany.
The larch is a deciduous conifer. In autumn the needles turn golden and the tree sheds them, so through the winter it stands bare. The crown is thinner and more open than a spruce's and the branches grow out of the trunk irregularly. In Europe it grows mainly at mountain and foothill altitudes, often at forest edges and on slopes above the railroad.
For builders of H0, TT and N layouts and for diorama makers building mountain or foothill scenery who need a lighter, airier conifer as a counterweight to dark spruces.
Not suitable for children under 15. Glue and base material are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
