Responsibility details are not available.
A set of ten finished conifers that the manufacturer lists as silver firs. Compared with ordinary green small trees they have a cooler tone shifted toward gray and blue. That difference in color is the main reason modelers buy them. They are supplied foliated and ready to be seated in the terrain.
A forest made of a single shade of green looks flat no matter how well the small trees are detailed. Real growth has tones from yellow-green to almost blue, depending on species, age and light. Mixing in a few cooler trees therefore deepens a scene at once. Ten pieces are just right for the job: enough to be noticed and few enough not to overwhelm the green.
It suits modelers who have their forest finished and want to rid it of monotony, as well as those building mountain landscape, where silvery conifers are common. The core of each small tree is an injection-molded plastic armature with hand-bent branches; production takes place in Germany. The silvery tone stands out most next to deep green neighbors, whereas in a continuous area of the same color it is lost and the scene starts to look cold and unnatural.
