Cork strips for track in H0 gauge in a light finish, 3.6 meters in total. They form the profile of the permanent way and deaden the noise of passing trains.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of cork strips from which a bed with beveled slopes is assembled under the track. The box contains six strips of sixty centimeters each, that is, three point six meters in total. The finish is light and it is intended for H0 gauge.
For two things at once. First, it forms the profile of a real permanent way, that is, a raised bed with sloping sides onto which the ballast is then poured. Second, it separates the track from the baseboard and deadens the noise that would otherwise be carried into the whole structure and resonate. The difference between track laid straight on the baseboard and track on cork is audible at once.
For builders of H0 gauge layouts who are laying out a line. The manufacturer is a German company specializing in scenery accessories, and production takes place in Germany. The cork bed is the first layer of the permanent way, so it pays to spend time on laying it: any unevenness that gets into it will show in running qualities as well as in the look of the ballast. Bear in mind that at turnouts and station areas the strips are not enough and the shape has to be made up from a cork sheet.
