HEKI stone ballast, brown, coarse 1.0 to 2.0 mm, 200 g is natural aggregate in an earthy tone.
Responsibility details are not available.
Two hundred grams of crushed aggregate from the German maker HEKI with a grain size of one to two millimeters in a brown shade. Brown ballast is the most general-purpose of all the colored variants on a model, because it matches aggregate mixed with soil and dust, that is, the way every unsurfaced area that gets driven over looks. On lanes and handling areas it therefore reads more naturally than pure gray.
Pour the ballast on, brush it out into its final form and only then flood it with ballast glue. With a coarser grain the glue has to run in deeper, so apply it slowly and let it soak. On a lane, leave the worn strip in the middle lighter and add grass along the sides, because an unsurfaced lane is only driven on in the ruts. Two hundred grams covers a decent stretch of lane or area, so a surface can be finished in one go. This is a loose material; do not breathe in the dust and keep it out of the reach of children.
For layout and diorama builders building lanes and handling areas, and for modelers who find pure gray too new-looking. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
