The GAZ-2330 is a Russian armored off-road vehicle that appears in modeling in modern military scenes and dioramas. The set is intended for building it in 1:35 scale and replaces the wheels that belong to the kit as standard.
The tires have a flattened contact area, so on a base the vehicle looks as though it really rested on it under its own weight. The difference is visible mainly from the side and in a photograph of a model, where a flat seating area dispels the impression that a wheel is just a perfect cylinder. The tread and the sidewalls are worked as modeled relief.
The flattening always belongs downwards to the ground. Before the glue sets, therefore, turn the wheel so that the flat area rests on the base, and keep the same turn on all the wheels, or the vehicle will look tilted. If the parts are not polystyrene, ordinary cement for plastic has no effect on them; use super glue. Cut excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder carefully. Before painting, wash and degrease the parts, or the paint will take hold less well. You will find the specific procedure for preparation in the manufacturer's instructions.
The set is an accessory to a kit. The model of the vehicle, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
