Four accessories that belong with a MiG-29 model but tend to be simplified or missing in a kit. The steps serve the pilot and the technicians for boarding the cockpit, the wheel chocks go under the wheels of a parked aircraft, the mirrors are fitted to the frame of the canopy and the antenna completes the external equipment of the machine. Together they give a finished model the look of a machine parked on an apron rather than one just taken out of the box. The set thus covers both the equipment around the machine and the small details on it.
The set is intended for MiG-29 models in 1:48 scale. Before fitting, compare the shape of the parts with your model, above all with the mirrors, where the width of the canopy frame matters, and with the steps, where the height relative to the edge of the cockpit has to be right.
Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts; on a smooth, non-absorbent surface cyanoacrylate glue holds more reliably than polystyrene cement. Lay the small parts out on a piece of card beforehand and paint them before fitting, as a brush will not reach them on a finished model. Fit the mirrors and the antenna at the very end, after the decals have been applied and after varnishing, so that they do not catch on a cloth or a sleeve. Place the wheel chocks against the tires from front and rear so that they sit down over their whole face.
