Responsibility details are not available.
A set of unpainted figures of Prussian artillery of the 1806 campaign in 1:72 scale, with guns and crews. It adds fire support to the Prussian infantry of the same period and makes the force complete. The figures and parts are in soft plastic, on which ordinary polystyrene cement and paint do not hold without preparation. That is not a flaw but a property of the material, and it is enough to allow for it beforehand.
Prussian artillery in 1806 was still organized according to the customs of the time of Frederick the Great: the guns were parcelled out by the battery to individual infantry brigades instead of being concentrated into large groupings as with the French. On the battlefield that meant the fire was dispersed and could not build decisive pressure on one place. After the defeat at Jena and Auerstedt this arm too went through a deep reform.
First wash the figures in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry out completely. Then apply a primer intended for soft plastics. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the gun carriages separately and add the crews to them only at the end. Set the wood of the carriage and the metal gun barrel clearly apart in shade.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
