1:32 Confederate Infantry Marching Set 2 - 18 figures is the second set of eighteen unpainted figures of Confederate infantry in a marching pose.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of eighteen unpainted figures of Confederate infantry of the American Civil War in 1:32 scale, in a marching pose. This is the second of two marching sets, which complement each other. Joining both gives a column in which the poses do not repeat as obviously as when a single set is used twice. The figures are in soft plastic, on which ordinary polystyrene cement and paint do not hold without preparation.
The Confederate army moved fast and light, because supply was weak and long wagon columns could not be relied on. The soldiers carried a minimum of kit, often just a blanket rolled over the shoulder instead of a knapsack. It was this mobility that was one of the few advantages the South had over the better-equipped North, and it can be shown well on a diorama.
First wash the figures in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry out completely. Then apply a primer intended for soft plastics. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Vary the shades of gray between the figures and add wear: faded cloth, patches and dusty boots.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
