A small injection-molded plastic kit in 1:100 scale from Zvezda. Thanks to the tiny scale the model is ideal for collectors of miniatures and for tabletop games as well as for a quick build for the display case. The parts are designed for easy assembly and capture the characteristic silhouette of a BT series tank with its hull, turret and running gear. It is a model of a combat vehicle in its own right.
The BT was a series of Soviet fast convertible wheel-and-track tanks of the 1930s, which stood out for their high mobility. The variant in the artillery pattern carried armament of a larger caliber for fire support. The design was based on the Christie suspension and became one of the foundations of the later development of Soviet tanks. Machines of this series were deployed in the conflicts at the turn of the 1930s and 1940s.
Cut the parts off with a generous cut and glue them with modeling cement for plastic. It is best to paint the running gear and the hull before finishing the assembly. Apply a filler primer, spray the base color with an airbrush and bring the surface to life with a wash into the recesses and fine pigments for a dust and mud effect.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
