A snap-together plastic kit in 1:110 scale from the German manufacturer. Thanks to the easy-click system for joining the parts, no glue is needed for the assembly: the parts simply snap together. The model suits beginners, children and a quick build without tools alike. Decals, or rather stickers, for the finishing touches are included.
The Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird was an American supersonic strategic reconnaissance aircraft capable of flying at more than three times the speed of sound at great altitudes. Its performance surpassed whole generations of machines, and to this day it is among the fastest aircraft ever to have flown. Its unmistakable black silhouette became a legend of the Cold War.
Take the parts carefully out of the sprue and join them by snapping them together; glue is not necessary. Although the model is ready to build without painting, the natural black surface of the aircraft can be painted in and its shades brought out for a more faithful look. Apply the stickers or decals on a clean surface. Once finished, the model also looks good on a stand.
The model is supplied unassembled; thanks to the easy-click system no glue is needed for the assembly. Paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
