Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Fokker E.III Eindecker fighter monoplane of the First World War in 1:144 scale from the Czech maker Valom. It is a double set that holds the parts for two models, completed with resin engines and photo-etched parts for finer detail. The decals offer markings for several machines. The small scale will be appreciated by collectors of Great War aircraft as well as modelers with limited space in the display case.
The Fokker E.III was a German fighter monoplane of the beginning of the First World War and one of the first aircraft fitted with a synchronized machine gun firing through the propeller disc. Thanks to this system German pilots gained a temporary superiority in the air, a period nicknamed the Fokker Scourge. It was a simple machine, but a feared one in its day.
Cut the small parts in the small scale away carefully, and wash the resin parts of any mold release residue before bonding them with super glue. Paint the covering of the fuselage and the wings in a period shade and suggest the ribbing with a fine wash. The bracing and the rigging can be suggested with a thin filament. Patience pays off on an aircraft this small.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
