An injection-molded plastic kit of the massive Tupolev Tu-95MS strategic bomber in its modernized version (NATO reporting name Bear-H) in 1:144 scale. Even in this small scale it is a large model with a richly detailed surface, a detailed cockpit, landing gear and a separate rudder. Treat the exact package contents as indicative.
The Tu-95 is one of the longest-serving bombers in history, designed as early as the 1950s and still in active service. It is powered by four huge turboprop engines with contra-rotating propellers whose tips move at supersonic speed, which makes the Tu-95 one of the noisiest aircraft ever. The modernized Tu-95MS version serves as a cruise missile carrier.
Make sure the long wings and the fuselage are glued firmly and straight, so that the model carries its own size. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. Assemble and paint the contra-rotating propellers separately and fit them at the end. A primer and an airbrush are the way to go; the metallic-looking surfaces come out best with metallic shades and light panel highlighting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
