The Comrod VHF3088VM antenna: the straight version, 1:16 is a set of two faithful model antennas used on the Leopard 2 A7V tank and on other modern vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detail set in 1:16 scale holding two faithful imitations of the modern military VHF antenna Comrod VHF3088VM in the straight (STRAIGHT) version. This is not a kit but an accessory that replaces the coarse plastic antenna from an ordinary kit with a fine, dimensionally accurate part. The set usually combines metal, photo-etched and printed parts for a faithful rendering of the antenna and of its base.
The Comrod VHF3088VM is a wideband VHF antenna fitted on modern military platforms, from wheeled to tracked vehicles. Among others it is carried by the latest version of the German Leopard 2 A7V tank. The straight version reproduces the antenna in the upright position; a variant with the antenna folded down also exists, sold separately.
For builders of large models of modern armored equipment in 1:16 scale who want a faithful and durable antenna instead of a thick plastic part.
This is a detail accessory, not a model of a vehicle. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
