The version 1:16 German tanker in winter dress offers the resin tanker in winter coveralls on his own, without the part of the commander's cupola.
Responsibility details are not available.
The separate version of the 120 mm figure holds only the crewman, without the section of cupola that serves as a base. Anyone who wants to seat the man in a hatch of their own will appreciate that, on a large-scale model of a Tiger, a Panther or a self-propelled gun, where an added piece of armor would only be in the way.
The German army introduced the padded reversible outfit after the first Russian winter, which showed how wretchedly the troops were equipped for frost. The coat and trousers had one side white for a snow-covered landscape and the other in field gray, later in a mottled pattern. A knitted hood, mittens and felt overboots went with it. In armored units the equipment typically got mixed: a black field cap was often worn over the padded jacket, with the headphones of the intercom around the neck.
A pure white shade looks flat on a figure. It looks more convincing when the undercoat is laid down in a light gray-blue and the white is applied only to the raised folds. The dirt on the hems and cuffs is created with a thinned brown toning that draws itself into the hollows.
The box consists of resin castings with no surface finish; paints and glue are a separate purchase.
