The set from the Czech maker Firma49 contains a 3D-printed resin model of the ten-ton jack that belonged to the onboard and maintenance equipment of the German Panzer III and Panzer IV tanks. The model is in 1:16 scale. This is not a vehicle kit but a faithful accessory for dioramas and superdetailing.
The jack serves as part of the stowed tools on the hull of a tank or as an element in its own right in a maintenance scene, where a crew is lifting a vehicle while changing road wheels or tracks. In the large 1:16 scale the small details of the mechanism stand out.
Wash the part free of residues of uncured printing resin, cut the print supports off and clean the surfaces up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). You will create the look of metal with a dark base and a hint of rust and oil stains.
The set contains the resin accessory only. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
