The Methyl Bromide extinguisher — GB (1:16) is a resin miniature of a British fire extinguisher of the Second World War in 1:16 scale from the manufacturer Firma49.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin miniature captures the British methyl bromide fire extinguisher used during the Second World War, in the large 1:16 scale. It is not a standalone model but a detail accessory meant to bring the interiors of vehicles, figure scenes and dioramas to life. The fine casting faithfully captures the characteristic shape of the period extinguisher.
Wash the casting free of mold release agent, cut it off the casting block and clean it up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The metal body of the extinguisher comes to life after an undercoat of primer, the base color and lightly picking out the details; a metallic sheen can be achieved with a metallic paint or with pigments. Protect your airways while sanding.
For modelers of military and historical equipment and for diorama builders who want to complete British vehicles and scenes with a realistic period fire extinguisher.
This is a resin accessory, not a standalone model or a working device. It is supplied unpainted; paints and glue are not included in the package.
