1:16 MP40 open stock is a printed resin weapon with the shoulder stock extended, an accessory to figures and hardware at 120 mm.
Responsibility details are not available.
A scale rendering of the German submachine gun of the Second World War for 1:16 scale. The weapon is captured in the firing position, that is with the shoulder stock swung out to the rear. The manufacturer prepared it digitally and prints it in good resin, which is especially useful on thin parts such as the barrel collar or the perforated jacket. A version with the stock folded exists in the same range, so you can choose according to whether the soldier has the weapon in his hands or slung.
The 9 mm submachine gun came about at the end of the 1930s and became known for its pressed body, plastic fore-end and folding wire stock. The stock was precisely the novelty that made it possible to carry it in a tank or a vehicle. The magazine of thirty-two rounds was often mistakenly used as a grip, although that led to stoppages.
Remove the supports from the print with nippers and polish the facets with fine sanding paper. The metal parts come out well over a dark base completed with graphite, while the plastic fore-end tended to be dark brown to black with a smooth sheen. Suggest the buckle of the sling with a strip of foil, because in the large scale the sling is conspicuous.
It is sold separately, without a figure and paints.
