The resin bust Red Baron: Manfred von Richthofen in 1:16 scale. A quality resin kit for collectors and figure painters.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin bust from Royal Model in 1:16 scale portrays the most famous fighter pilot of the First World War, Manfred von Richthofen, nicknamed the Red Baron. The bust is cast in quality polyurethane resin, which allows a high degree of detail of the face, the uniform and the equipment. It is a collector model for the advanced, supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Manfred von Richthofen was a German fighter pilot of the First World War and, with 80 confirmed victories, the most successful air ace of the conflict. He got the nickname Red Baron from his brightly red-painted aircraft, among them the Fokker Dr.I triplane. He fell in combat in 1918 and remains a legend of aviation history to this day.
First wash the parts clean of the remains of mold release agent, clean the casting blocks up and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting. For the skin and the uniform, acrylic or oil paints laid on with a brush work well, together with a technique of shading and highlighting, which comes out beautifully in the large scale of a bust.
The bust is supplied as a resin kit, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and any additional base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
