Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic assembly figure of an American paratrooper of the 101st Airborne Division in 1:16 scale from the manufacturer Dragon. It is a large figure, whose greater scale allows a detailed rendering of the equipment as well as of the face. The package contains the parts of the figure and a base; the individual pieces are cut off the sprues, glued and painted according to the instructions.
The 101st Airborne Division of the US Army, nicknamed the Screaming Eagles after the emblem with an eagle head, made its name at the Normandy landings in June 1944. Its paratroopers were dropped behind enemy lines on the night before the invasion, where they secured key points and bridges. The figure captures a typical paratrooper in combat equipment from this period.
Cut the parts off the sprues and clean up the mold seams. For gluing the plastic use thin cement, and seat the small parts exactly according to the instructions. It is practical to paint the figure in subassemblies, while the pieces are still well accessible. We recommend a base of primer and building the color layers from the base tones up to the highlights; for the face and the equipment, fine shading and a dry brush on the edges are suitable.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
