A pair of replacement MG13 machine gun barrels in the long version for a model of the German Pz.Kpfw. I, Ausf. A light tank in 1:16 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Pz.Kpfw. I, Ausf. A was a German light tank with a crew of two and an armament of a pair of machine guns in the turret. It is precisely that pair of barrels side by side that is its most conspicuous recognition feature, and because it is visible from the front and from the side, it carries much of the final impression on a model. The early versions differed from the later ones in a number of details, among them the execution of the machine gun barrels.
The set brings two MG13 machine gun barrels in the long version for 1:16 scale. They replace the corresponding parts of a kit and are intended for the early variant of the tank. The 1:16 scale is exceptionally generous, so even small things that would be lost in the smaller scales tell on the barrels. The recommended way of fixing them and any reworking of the openings in the turret are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The set is intended for builders of large scales who are bothered by the compromise shape of the machine gun barrels from the box. It is a small change that shows on a finished model at first glance. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
