A resin figure of a modern Ukrainian soldier in 1:16 scale from BlackSnake Model. It is a collector casting with a high level of detail, capturing contemporary equipment and a natural stance. It is not a kit of a vehicle or an aircraft but a figure intended to be assembled, filled and painted by hand.
The casting is in modeling resin with sharply rendered details of the uniform, the tactical equipment and the face. Before building, wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and bond the joints with super glue. Fill the small seams and sand them with respiratory protection.
A base primer and then acrylic figure paints are the way to go, ideally with layering and glazes for modeling the skin and the fabrics. Modern digital camouflage patterns call for patience and a fine brush, and final highlighting and shading will give the figure expression.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, filler and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
