Airscale cockpit upgrade Fw 190 A8 1:18 is a photo-etched cockpit detail set for the large-scale model of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A8 fighter; it is an accessory, not an airplane model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set from the maker Airscale for upgrading the cockpit of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A8 fighter in the unusually large 1:18 scale. The set contains fine photo-etched parts for the instrument panel, the side consoles and the pedals, made of nickel silver for a faithful metal look and easy weathering. This is not an airplane model but a detail accessory for the cockpit.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was among the best German fighters of the Second World War. The A8 version was one of the most widespread production variants, with the BMW 801 radial engine, heavy armament and good agility. The cockpit of the Fw 190 had a typical arrangement of instruments and controls, which this set replaces in detail in the large scale.
Separate the nickel silver photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and bend them with a photo-etch bender for clean edges. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the instrument panel and the consoles in the interior shade and pick out the dials and the details; the etched surface takes washes and drybrushing well. Fit them before closing the fuselage.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package unless stated otherwise.
