The real subject

The Bf 109 G is the most numerous series of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter. The G-5 version was given a pressurized cabin, which let the pilot stand longer flights at high altitude; otherwise it differed little from the G-6 built alongside it. Both carried a pair of 13 mm machine guns above the engine, whose breeches had to be covered by conspicuous bulges on the nose, and both were powered by the liquid-cooled inverted V12 Daimler-Benz DB 605.

What kind of set this is

An Eduard accessory set from the LööK Plus range made for the Airfix Bf 109 G-5 kit in 1:24 scale. The LööK range aims at the cockpit and the core of these sets is usually a color-finished instrument panel with seat belts; the Plus version rounds them out with further parts. Building tips

In the large scales the cockpit is clearly visible on a finished model, so bring it to completion before you glue the fuselage halves together. Lay every part dry first, check its position and even out any slack by modifying the plastic of the kit rather than by force. Do not sand or overspray the finished color surfaces and keep them away from grease from your fingers; dose the glue in minute drops and apply it to the hidden side of the part. The recommended glue is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
