A set of two resin figures of German infantry of the Waffen-SS units in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker CMK. The figures serve to bring dioramas to life and to complete vehicles or scenes from the Second World War period. They are meant rather for more experienced modelers, who will appreciate detailed castings.

The real subject

The figures capture German infantrymen in the equipment used in the later phase of the Second World War. The treatment is purely a modeling one and factual as history, without any judgment. The poses of the figures are chosen so that they fit well into both combat and rear-area scenes.

Building and painting tips

Wash the mold release off the resin parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the faces and the hands in flesh shades and shade them, and tone the uniform according to period references. For a convincing result, oil paints and fine dry brushes come in handy.
