Airscale instrument panel Spitfire Mk.1a/Vb 1:24 is a set of color decals for the instrument panel of the British Supermarine Spitfire fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This product is not an airplane model but a set of decals in 1:24 scale from the British company Airscale. It makes it possible to create a faithful instrument panel of the British Supermarine Spitfire fighter in the Mk.1a and Mk.Vb versions. The set contains color decals of the dial faces and of the labels matching the arrangement of the cockpit of these versions.
The Supermarine Spitfire ranks among the most famous fighters in history. Its elegant elliptical wing and the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine made it a key aircraft of the Royal Air Force during the Battle of Britain and afterwards. The Mk.1a version was an early form, while the Mk.Vb was a widespread variant with a more powerful engine and cannon armament.
The decal is applied to a smoothly varnished surface of the instrument panel, ideally over a gloss clear coat and with a decal softener. Once dry, it is unified with a matte varnish, and the dial faces can be highlighted with a drop of gloss clear coat imitating glass. The set usually contains illustrated instructions.
This is an accessory (instrument panel decals), not a kit. The airplane model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
