This is a set of 3D printed colored decals from the Quinta Studio manufacturer. It is not a model but a decorative accessory for car models in 1:24 scale. The set contains reproductions of American license plates of the western states of the USA from the period 1950-1960, carried out by the 3D decal technique on a film with a raised, color-printed surface and supplemented with a metal backing for faithful attachment. The Part 1 designation means that this is the first part of the collection of these plates; the second part offers further states and variants.
License plates raise the realism of a car model markedly. Thanks to the 3D execution the plates have the real raised quality of the letters and the numerals, which a flat decal cannot imitate. The metal backing gives the plate stiffness and a metallic look. The set is universal (for All Kits) and suits both the front and the rear holder of a vehicle model in the matching scale.
The 3D decals are applied onto a clean, degreased surface; work with tweezers and seat them accurately, because once they have adhered the repositioning is limited. The metal backing can be colored or weathered as needed to tune it to the body.
The accessory is supplied on its own; the vehicle model, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
