This product is not an airplane model but a photo-etched detail sheet in 1:24 scale from the British company Airscale. It contains a wide selection of cockpit details in the British, German and American pattern for aircraft of the Second World War. It serves to fill the cabin and make it convincing with small, precisely etched parts.
The sheet typically includes the faceplates of radios and cockpit equipment, switches, knobs and levers, circuit breakers and electrical components as well as other small details that appeared in cockpits. The fine relief etching gives the parts a three-dimensional effect. Combined with instrument decals and bezels, it produces an exceptionally faithful cabin.
The photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp knife or with photo-etch scissors and bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It is worth degreasing the parts before painting and spraying them with a primer. Tweezers come in handy for handling the small parts.
This is a photo-etched cockpit accessory, not a kit. The airplane model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
