HäT 1:32 7 Years War Prussians Marching is a set of marching Prussian infantry of the Seven Years War in a larger scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:32 scale, the fifty-four millimeter size, from HäT. The figures capture the Prussian infantry of the time of Frederick the Great in a marching stance and come unpainted. In the same scale the maker also offers action and command poses, so that a whole battalion can be put together from them.
The Prussian army of the Seven Years War was the measure of quality in Europe. The soldiers drilled loading until they could fire more rounds a minute than any opponent, and they marched in closed order over distances that other armies could not manage. Frederick the Great used this for the so-called oblique order of battle, concentrating his striking power on one wing.
Wash the figures, dry them and spray them with a flexible primer. The larger scale allows the tricorn hat, the lace and the buttons to be picked out, all of which are lost in 1:72. Lighten the dark blue coat and add the shadow with a glaze; handle the white breeches with a light gray. A marching formation looks best when all the figures are lined up with an even spacing.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
