1:32 AGM-130A missiles (Mk84 warhead) (2 pcs) joins two rocket-powered guided missiles with a conventional warhead and one data link pod.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from Reskit holds two AGM-130A missiles with the Mk 84 warhead and with them one AN/AXQ-14 data link pod, without which the weapon could not be steered. Joining both items into one package is exactly what makes sense: the carrier has to take both at the same time. Everything is printed in resin and intended for 1:32 scale.
The AGM-130 is derived from a glide bomb, to which the designers added a rocket motor under the body. The reach grew by so much that a crew could attack from a safe distance from the air defenses. Guidance went by the method called man in the loop: the weapons officer watched the picture from the seeker on a display and used the data link to steer it onto the target, or else handed control over to another machine. The A version carries the conventional two-ton Mk 84 warhead. The manufacturer recommends the set for F-15E, F-111F and F-16I machines.
The motor under the body and the forward surfaces are separate parts, so start with a dry run of the whole and only then fix it. Given the weight of the body it pays to reinforce the joint with the pylon with wire. For color it is an unremarkable light gray whole, in which only the colored markings and the darker cover of the seeker stand out. Do not forget to give the data link pod the same shade, so that it comes across as part of the fit.
The package holds no aircraft, no paints and no glue.
