Responsibility details are not available.
This kit in 1:32 scale from the Polish brand Lukgraph captures the late production version of the German Albatros D.II fighter of the First World War. It is a modern 3D printed model meant for experienced modelers; the parts are produced by printing in resin, so they call for a different approach from ordinary injection-molded plastic.
The Albatros D.II was a single-seat fighter biplane deployed by the German air service from the end of 1916. It was powered by an inline water-cooled Mercedes engine and its armament consisted of a pair of synchronized machine guns. The late version differed from the early machines in the arrangement of the radiator, which moved from the sides of the fuselage into the upper wing. The type helped Germany gain temporary superiority in the air and was the forerunner of the successful Albatros D.III family.
First wash the parts free of print resin residue and cut the print supports off. It is bonded with superglue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding. We recommend a quality primer and an airbrush; the wooden surfaces and the fuselage covering come out well with glazes and fine washes.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
