A photo-etched detail set from the STEEL range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is NOT a model but a set of safety belts for the interior of the four-engine Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress bomber in the E and F versions. The pre-painted steel sheet shapes well and faithfully imitates the fabric straps for the crew seats.
Pre-painted steel photo-etched parts with the sections of the seatbelts, the buckles and the fittings matching the crew stations of the B-17. The exact number of parts and the extent of the package differ from set to set.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and shape them with tweezers. The self-adhesive steel belts can be bent over the seats and the bulkheads for a realistic look. The color can be touched up locally; the base is printed on.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
