BAe Hawk T.1A 1:32 — exhaust nozzle from the manufacturer Reskit. A replacement for the simplified nozzle from a kit, an accessory for a model, not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a detail set for the exhaust nozzle in 1:32 scale from the manufacturer Reskit, not a kit. It replaces the plastic nozzle on a model of the British BAe Hawk T.1A trainer, which tends to be molded thick-walled and without internal structure. The aircraft model, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
The BAe Hawk T.1 is a British two-seat subsonic trainer and light combat aircraft powered by the Rolls-Royce Turbomeca Adour turbofan without an afterburner. The T.1A form is carried by some of the Royal Air Force machines modified for supplementary air defense duties. It is the engine that distinguishes the sets for the individual Hawk generations: the later form received a more powerful variant of the powerplant and with it a differently shaped tailpipe, so the nozzle for the T.1A is not interchangeable with the set for the newer machines.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent and let them dry. Cut away the casting residue with a sharp blade and sand the surface back, protecting your airways while sanding. The nozzle is glued with super glue, not with solvent cement for plastic. Check dry whether the internal diameter of the rear fuselage needs adjusting. Painting: apply metallic shades over a smooth, well-smoothed base, because every scratch shows under metallic paint. Suggest the heat discoloration in thin layers and seal it at the end with a fine varnish.
