Injection-molded plastic kit of the British BAe Hawk T.1A jet trainer and light combat aircraft in 1:32 scale from Revell. The model captures the machine in the striking red finish of the royal aerobatic team the Red Arrows, including the characteristic ventral pod for the smoke generator. The box contains plastic sprues, clear parts and a decal sheet; for the particular contents follow the enclosed instructions.
The Hawk is a single-engine subsonic trainer used for advanced pilot training and in light combat roles. In the version for the Red Arrows aerobatic team it is fitted with equipment for producing colored smoke trails and carries the iconic red finish, which is among the best known aircraft liveries of all.
Finish and paint the cockpit and the landing gear bays before closing the fuselage. An airbrush and even layering suit the deep red finish; before applying the decals, lay down a gloss coat so that they settle without silvering, and then seal them. Glue the clear cockpit parts with a cement for clear plastics so that they do not go dull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
