A set of a 3D-printed pre-colored Quinta Studio interior for the single-seat version of the Eurofighter Typhoon (EF-2000/2000A) in 1:32 scale. The cockpit parts are printed by color 3D printing on a decal backing: they are applied like a decal, but they have real three-dimensional 3D relief. What comes about is a photorealistic cockpit with depth, with instrument panels, switches and the texture of the seat, and all that with no painting. This variant is for a cockpit with one seat. The displays here are in the ordinary (switched off) execution; anyone who wants lit screens will find a single-seat Powered-up Displays version is made as well.
This is not an aircraft model and not a kit. It is a detail interior set intended directly for the plastic Eurofighter Typhoon kit from the maker Trumpeter in 1:32 scale; you have to own the kit itself separately, and the set will not fit other kits. For the twin-seat version (EF-2000B/2000T) with a cockpit for two seats, a separate set is made.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a European supersonic multirole fourth-generation fighter with an aerodynamic layout of a delta wing and canard foreplanes. It came about as a joint European program and carries out air superiority tasks as well as ground attack. The single-seat combat version (EF-2000/2000A) forms the backbone of the armament of the operators of the type.
The parts are transferred like a decal: dipped, slid off the backing and settled into their place in the cockpit. Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution, as they damage the printed resin; the result is sealed with a varnish. Painting is not necessary, as the parts are pre-colored.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a model in its own right. The plastic kit, glue, paints and varnishes are not included in the package.
