1:32 F-14A Jolly Rogers Low Visibility decal sheet

HAD models 1:32 F-14A Jolly Rogers Low Visibility - a decal set

A decal set from the Hungarian maker HAD models for a model of the Grumman F-14A Tomcat fighter in 1:32 scale. The sheet captures the famous VF-84 Jolly Rogers squadron in its low visibility form of the 1980s. It is not an aircraft model but decals that will bring the surface of a model to life with the matching markings.

Use

• The decals are intended for a model of the F-14A Tomcat in the large 1:32 scale.
• The sheet contains national markings and the markings of the low visibility scheme of the VF-84 squadron.
• Apply them onto a glossy, smoothly painted surface; with decal fixers the decals settle onto detail better.

The real subject

The Grumman F-14 Tomcat was an American two-seat carrier-based fighter with a variable-geometry wing. The VF-84 Jolly Rogers squadron with its characteristic skull and crossbones emblem was among the best known units of the US Navy; in the 1980s it moved to subdued low visibility finishes.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building the F-14A Tomcat in the large 1:32 scale.
• Fans of American carrier aviation and of the Jolly Rogers squadron.
