1:32 F-35B Lightning II - cockpit (Basic edition, 3D decals included) is a printed replacement cockpit including three-dimensional decals. It is an accessory for a kit, not an aircraft model.

A 3D-printed set that replaces the cockpit of an F-35B aircraft model in 1:32 scale. The basic edition contains the main parts of the pilot's compartment and, with them, three-dimensional decals, that is decals with a layered relief that transfer the displays and control panels onto the surface complete with an impression of depth. For the modeler that means a convincing cockpit without having to paint tiny instruments with a brush. The set is not an aircraft model.
The F-35B is the version of the Lightning II with short take-off and vertical landing capability. The lift fan behind the cockpit and the swiveling nozzle at the tail make it the most complex member of the family. The cockpit differs only minimally from the other versions, but it is controlled by one large touchscreen panel instead of a classic group of instruments. That panel is the most conspicuous surface of the whole pilot's compartment on a model.
The printed parts are held on thin supports. Snip them off close to the part and level the surface with a file or a scalpel. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply primer before painting. Apply the three-dimensional decals only onto a finished and dried clear coat, and use softener on them carefully and in small amounts, because the relief layer is more sensitive than an ordinary decal.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
