This is not an aircraft model but a resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer CMK. It brings a faithfully cast cockpit with the instrument panel, side panels, the seat and the levers. The set is meant to complete an injection-molded model of the Grumman F6F Hellcat fighter in 1:32 scale.
The Grumman F6F Hellcat was an American single-seat carrier fighter of the US Navy, committed from 1943 above all in the Pacific. This rugged machine with a radial engine became one of the most successful naval fighters of the war. The F6F-3 and the later F6F-5 differed in small changes; the large glazed canopy makes the interior a clearly visible part of the model.
Wash the resin parts free of release agent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The interior is painted before the fuselage is closed and brought out with a wash and a drybrush; the small instruments can be finished with a drop of gloss varnish for the look of glass.
The set contains resin accessory parts only; the model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
