Nieuport 11 Bébé 1:32 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the French fighter biplane of the First World War, a short-run kit for more experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:32 scale captures the French Nieuport 11 fighter biplane, nicknamed the Bébé, from the Ukrainian maker Amodel. It is a short-run kit that modelers experienced in building biplanes and rigging will appreciate. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Nieuport 11 Bébé was a small single-seat fighter sesquiplane designed by Gustave Delage. It became famous as one of the machines that in 1916 brought the so-called Fokker Scourge to an end and won air superiority back for the Allies. It was armed with a machine gun firing over the propeller arc and, thanks to its agility, was among the favorite fighters of its day.
With a short-run kit, first clean the parts up and check the fit by dry assembly. Seat the wings, the struts and the landing gear carefully; the bracing wires can be added with rigging thread for a faithful look. Use a thin cement for plastic, paint the fabric-covered areas in shades of linen and cigar-brown dope, and lay a gloss varnish on before the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
