A set of waterslide decals from the American brand Two Bobs in 1:32 scale, aimed at the markings of training armament. It holds lettering and color bands for the training (CATM) versions of the AIM-9 and AIM-120 missiles and for ACMI pods, with which models of modern fighters in a training configuration are completed. These are add-on decals, not a kit.
CATM (Captive Air Training Missile) are training, inert versions of guided missiles used for practice without a launch. ACMI (Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation) is a recording pod for evaluating practice air combat, which is hung on a missile station. In reality, training and inert armament is set apart by blue bands and specific lettering, and it is precisely their faithful imitation that this set of decals makes possible.
Apply the markings onto a smooth surface of the missiles and pods prepared with gloss clear. After soaking in lukewarm water, slide the decal onto its place, align it and blot the excess water away. For the curved bodies and transitions across engraved lines, use a decal softener and a decal fixer solution, and finally fix everything with a protective clear coat.
The decals are supplied on their own; the armament, the model, paints and clear coat are not included in the package.
