Hobby 2000 1:32 MiG-21 MF - weighted wheels is a resin set of wheels with a realistic sag in the tires under the weight of the aircraft, for a model of the MiG-21 MF fighter in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an airplane kit but a resin set of wheels for more experienced modelers. The wheels are cast with the lower part of the tire flattened, as if the weight of a standing aircraft were pressing on them. The set replaces the wheels of a base model of the MiG-21 MF fighter in 1:32 scale and adds crisp detail to the tread pattern and the hubs. The accessory is made by Hobby 2000.
The MiG-21 MF was one of the most widespread versions of the Soviet supersonic MiG-21 fighter. It served with dozens of air arms around the world and is one of the icons of the Cold War.
Wash the mold release residue off the wheels, cut off the casting blocks and sand down any flash with respiratory protection. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Weighted wheels come out best on a finished landing gear; give the tires a matte finish and the hubs can be set apart in color.
It is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
