Responsibility details are not available.
This kit from the Japanese maker Aoshima, from its line of simple snap models, represents the iconic Nissan S30 Fairlady Z sports car in the Safari Brown finish with custom wheels. The parts are molded in color and join by snapping together, so even a beginner can build the model without glue or paints. The Custom Wheel version brings striking alloy wheels and matched tires.
The Nissan S30, sold as the Fairlady Z in Japan and as the 240Z on export markets, is a classic coupe of the turn of the 1960s and 1970s. The combination of an elegant body, an inline six-cylinder engine and a low price made it one of the most successful Japanese sports cars and a sought-after youngtimer to this day.
Thanks to the snap construction and the colored parts, neither glue nor paint is needed. Anyone who wants to take the result further can secure the joints with a drop of glue, tidy up the parting lines and add gloss clear on the body or tinting on the glass. The custom wheels come into their own once they are cleaned up and polished.
The kit is supplied unassembled; the parts are molded in color and join by snapping together, and neither glue nor paints are needed to build it.
