A set of colored 3D decals from Kelik for the cockpit of the North American Rockwell OV-10 A/C Bronco light observation and counter-insurgency aircraft in 1:32 scale, from the Kitty Hawk and Zimi Models kits. This is an accessory for a plastic kit, not an aircraft model. The pre-printed films, built up in layers, faithfully capture the instrument panels, the side consoles and the tandem seats. The parts are colored from the factory and give the glazed pilot's compartment realistic depth without photo-etched parts or hand painting.
The OV-10 Bronco is a twin-engine turboprop aircraft used for forward air control, observation and light combat support. It is marked out by its twin tail booms and the extensive glazing of the cabin, which gave the crew an excellent view. The A and C versions served above all with the American armed forces in counter-insurgency and observation duties.
Given the large glazed area of the cabin, the interior detail shows up especially well. Degrease the surfaces, let the decal soften and press it into the relief with a softener. A fine wash and a matte clear coat bring out the instruments and even out the surface.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a model in its own right. The aircraft kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
