A 3D-printed resin set for experienced modelers in 1:32 scale from Reskit. It contains three figures of aircraft carrier deck crew in red jerseys (the so-called red jersey crew, meaning the ordnance and munitions handlers) and an AERO 21A (MHU-191A/M) handling trolley. This is an accessory for a flight deck diorama, not an airplane model.
On the decks of American aircraft carriers the color of the jersey marks the job; red belongs to the ordnance and munitions handlers. The AERO 21A trolley is used to move bombs and missiles to the aircraft and to load them. Figures in working poses give a scene with a fighter model both a sense of scale and a story.
Wash the parts, remove the print supports and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); sand while protecting your airways. Apply a primer and paint with an airbrush, then finish the red jerseys and the faces with a brush.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
