A sizable plastic kit of the MiG-29K carrier fighter from Trumpeter in the attractive large 1:32 scale. The package combines injection-molded plastic with extra multimedia parts (photo-etched frets, metal and other components), so it offers a richly broken down model with plenty of room for detailing.
The MiG-29K is the carrier variant of the well-known MiG-29 fighter, adapted for operation from aircraft carriers. Compared with the land-based version it has strengthened landing gear, a tailhook, folding wings and airframe changes for corrosion resistance in a naval environment. It serves as a multirole machine for air superiority as well as for attacks on ground and surface targets.
At a large scale it pays to clean the mating surfaces up carefully and to use thin cement for plastic. The cockpit and the wheel bays will please detail enthusiasts. Before spraying we recommend a primer, an airbrush and then an emphasis on the panel lines. Bond the multimedia parts with super glue.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
