Quinta Studio US Aircraft Recognition Lights, WWII and Post-War, 1:32 is a set of 3D-printed color lights on decal paper, for universal use on American aircraft models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set from Quinta Studio bringing miniature recognition (identification) lights of the kind used on American military aircraft during the Second World War and in the post-war period. The parts are 3D-printed, translucently colored, and are applied on thin carrier paper like a decal. The set is designed for universal use on American aircraft models in 1:32 scale.
Recognition lights were usually located on the underside of the fuselage or wings and served for identification. On a model, they read as a small but realistic detail. Thanks to the pre-applied color and raised shape, they look more authentic than a hand-painted dot of paint.
Cut out the light and soak it briefly in lukewarm water to release it from the backing paper, then slide it into the designated spot, ideally over a glossy painted surface, which acts as the adhesive. Do not use a decal softener, as it will attack the print. The effect can be enhanced with a drop of clear varnish, which creates the impression of a glass cover.
This is a detailing accessory, not a standalone model. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package.
