The South Vietnamese and Japanese motorbikes of the 1960s and 1970s in 1:35 scale is an injection-molded plastic set of civilian figures and motorcycles from Gecko Models for bringing Vietnamese dioramas to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic set captures a civilian scene from the streets of South Vietnam in the 1960s and 1970s: a group of civilians and Japanese motorcycles of the Honda SS50E type. The package contains figures, motorcycles, a clear part and photo-etched parts. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
During the Vietnam War, small Japanese motorcycles were part of the typical color of South Vietnamese towns and countryside alike. The set therefore lets you place military vehicles into a living civilian setting and give a diorama the atmosphere of the period.
Glue the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Attach the small photo-etched parts with super glue. A primer proves worthwhile before painting; civilian clothing and the painted surfaces of the motorcycles come out well with an airbrush followed by shading. For a realistic look, add dust and wear with pigments.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
