A stand-alone 3D-printed resin accessory in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer Firma49. This is not a model, but an accurate ammunition box for the Soviet 12.7 mm DShK heavy machine gun. The fine print captures the details of the lid, hinges and surface that bring a vehicle, weapon position or diorama to life.
The ammo box serves as an accessory for models with the DShK weapon as well as a small element of a scene. The DShK machine gun was one of the most widely used Soviet heavy weapons, and its equipment is typical gear for vehicles and weapon positions.
Before removing the supports or drilling and cutting, dip the part in hot water as the manufacturer recommends; the resin softens slightly, which reduces chipping, and regains its original hardness once it cools. Sand the surfaces with respiratory protection and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. After a primer, a wash and dry-brushing will bring out the details.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
