A detailed 3D-printed wheel set in 1:35 scale for the Italian Autoblinda AB41 armored car. The wheels carry the Artiglio type of tread and replace the stock parts with a more convincing rendering, with crisp relief on the tire and the rim. The maker is the Italian brand Royal Model.
The Autoblinda AB41 was an Italian armored reconnaissance car of the Second World War, deployed in North Africa among other places. Different types of tire with different treads were among the characteristic marks that told individual vehicles apart.
Wash the 3D-printed wheels, cut off the print supports and sand over the marks left by printing. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the tires in a matte rubber color, set the rims apart and add dust and mud effects with pigments.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
