Miniart 1:35 Cafe Visitors 1930-40s is an injection-molded plastic set of civilian figures with cafe furniture for dioramas of the interwar and wartime era.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic set of figures in 1:35 scale from Miniart. It captures a scene from a cafe of the 1930s and 1940s: guests at a table and a waiter serving them. Alongside the figures the set adds small cafe furniture and accessories that turn the figures into a finished scene for a diorama.
Civilian cafe life in interwar and early wartime Europe is a popular motif for bringing dioramas to life. Period clothing, sitting over a coffee or a glass and easy gestures give a scene a human dimension and a sense of scale. Civilian figures like these suit city settings, vehicles and buildings, and they break up the austerity of purely military scenes.
The parts are injection-molded in plastic and are glued with thin modeling cement for plastic. Clean up the parting lines and the gate marks before painting. A base coat and shading with acrylics are recommended; the faces and the fabrics come out well with drybrushing and fine toning. The cafe furniture can be weathered separately.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
