An injection-molded plastic kit of the period German delivery vehicle Typ 170V in the flatbed form for delivering cheese, in 1:35 scale from the maker MiniArt. The set offers a richly broken-up body with opening doors, clear parts, photo-etched features and accessories for the load. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Typ 170V was a popular civilian car built in the 1930s and 1940s, liked for its reliability and economy. A range of utility bodies grew out of it, including open flatbeds for delivering goods. It was exactly such vehicles that filled out the atmosphere of period streets, and they are a rewarding subject for civilian and diorama scenes alike.
Because of the number of fine parts, work patiently and glue with a liquid cement for plastic; the photo-etched features with cyanoacrylate glue. Finish the interior and the engine bay before closing the body. The vehicle comes out well in civilian color combinations, and the accessories for the load suggest themselves for a striking setting in a display case or a diorama.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
